Downtown Lavonia Sets Fall Festival for Sept. 26

The town's biggest autumn event returns a week from Saturday, and vendor applications are already closed.

The Lavonia Downtown Development Authority lists the Lavonia Fall Festival for Saturday, Sept. 26, in downtown Lavonia. The authority describes it as a celebration of autumn with hundreds of vendors, handmade goods, food, live entertainment and family activities through the downtown blocks.

The festival page does not list a start or end time and does not mention street closures. The authority says it is not accepting new vendor applications for this year and is collecting names through an online form for future events.

It is the largest dated item on the downtown calendar between now and the end of October. The next downtown event listed after it is Trick-or-Treat at the Gazebo on Oct. 31.

Where we could not look this morning. The Hartwell Lake level restrictions page returned a 403 error on both tries, so no current lake level or restriction status is reported. The Savannah District news release page had nothing newer than February 2026. The Franklin County Chamber calendar showed no dated events for September or October. The City of Lavonia home page and live feed carried no September posts, and no 2026 city agenda page was found. The Lavonia-Carnegie Library page did not display its event list.
