Franklin County has posted a convenience center price change, an AED reporting notice under the Mason Sells Act, and a call for applications to serve on the Board of Equalization. The county courthouse closure for roof repairs ended September 8. On the city side, the most recent post to the Lavonia live feed is dated August 26, when the boil water advisory for the Gumlog area was lifted. The city has not posted a 2026 agenda page.
Where we could not look this morning. The Hartwell Lake level restrictions page and the Department of War releases page both returned errors twice and could not be read. The Franklin County Chamber calendar showed no dated events for the next several weeks. The Lavonia-Carnegie Library page listed no branch hours or programs. The City of Lavonia site has no 2026 agenda page and no live feed post since August 26. The NWS JSON feed first returned a stale forecast, so the Lavonia point forecast page was used instead.
