Fall Break Runs Through Friday, and Monday Is Another Day Off

Franklin County students are out all week, and the Oct. 12 professional learning day extends the break to a second weekend.

Franklin County Schools lists fall break as Oct. 5 through 9. The district calendar then shows Monday, Oct. 12 as a professional learning day and student holiday, so students are not due back until Tuesday, Oct. 13.

The Board of Education has its regular meeting at 6 p.m. on Oct. 13. The district lists later dates of Nov. 5 for a work session and Nov. 10 for a regular meeting. The meetings page does not give a location in its listing, and the district office is at 280 Busha Road in Carnesville.
