The Lavonia Local collects one thing from subscribers: an email address. We store it, the date you subscribed, the date you confirmed, and a coarse record of the network address used to sign up (kept only to stop abuse). We use the address to send the morning edition and nothing else. We do not sell it, rent it, share it, or use it for advertising.

Emails are sent through Resend, a delivery service, which processes your address on our behalf. The site runs on Cloudflare. We do not use tracking pixels or click tracking in the paper.

Every edition includes an unsubscribe link. Using it removes your address from the active list immediately. To have your address deleted entirely, email news@lavonialocal.com and it will be removed within a few days.

The paper itself is compiled from public websites operated by governments, schools, and other organizations. We summarize and link to them; we are not affiliated with any of them, and we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
